Who I Help

I have a sincere passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community, especially those exploring gender identity. I love working with trans and gender expansive folks. I am relationship affirming, including those in consensual non-monogamous relationships.

I want you to bring ALL of you in here.

I also enjoy working with those facing chronic illness and pain, anxiety, depression, marriage/separation/divorce, relationship identity and exploration (i.e. open relationships), grief, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, and trauma.

What Can you Expect?

As a queer, transmasculine person, I am able to bring the unique combination of lived experience and clinical skills into the room, if you are open to that. While your story will not be my story, my hope is that if we find we have shared experiences, it will help you become more comfortable--which will allow us to really dive in.

I have a collaborative style with space for humor and an expressive physicality--lots of hand gestures!

I utilize a variety of treatment modalities depending on what you feel comfortable with and you believe may work for you, and I function from a fat liberation/health at every size (HAES) approach. These modalities include feminist, humanistic, narrative, person-centered, somatic, and liberation psychologies.

I am deeply curious about the world and people's lives. I see the therapeutic process as a place for increasing freedom and cultivating liberation that is both individual and collective. I also bring my experience as a theater maker and educator to the therapeutic relationship, with a strong belief in the power of personal story in the process of creating change.

I love people and I love their stories and I am passionate about the potential for growth and healing that we all share. I want to see more people supported as they embrace their potential and share it with their communities.

When I'm not at Open Space CCW, you may also find me...

Hanging out with my family and animals, or making new plays.
