Who I Help

You are someone who is fed-up, tired and a little pissed off about *feeling* stuck. You may be currently *feeling* stuck: in your emotions; in your trauma; in a relationship; in a job that you hate; ANYWHERE you don’t want to be. I want to help you attend to yourself, process and move forward from that which no longer serves or nourishes you.

You are wanting to let go of your “emotional baggage” or “dead weight.” You want to feel like you are working towards becoming your most authentic, genuine and comfortable self. You don’t want to feel as though you’re simply going through the motions, but that you can find meaning and enjoyment in your existence. If you are anxious/scared/depressed and that’s holding you back from feeling able to make a change that you want, I’m here to walk along side you, hype you up, and maybe give you the kick in the butt you need to make moves.

I love what I do, and I am passionate about helping others become the version of themselves they feel proud to show off and show up for. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. I specialize in working with individuals working through anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship, perinatal and postnatal issues.

What Can you Expect?

It is my goal to meet you in the therapeutic space just the same as if you were to meet me organically on the street. I believe in bringing my most authentic and genuine self to the table, and encourage you to do the same.

What does that look like? There’s a good chance we will laugh, cry, curse and sometimes just shoot the shit. All while getting the work done.

I strive to provide a space where you can be met with genuine empathy, care, compassion, and a little bit (or a lotta bit) of humor. My approach to therapy is through a humanistic lens. I put an emphasis not only on what your current circumstances are, but how your past experiences have led you there. Using interpersonal, cognitive behavioral and person-centered techniques, we will work together to identify productive and non-productive areas of your life to help you continue to grow.

It is important for me that the work we do doesn’t always feel like work, that together we can make it feel natural and fulfilling. I want therapy to be something you look forward to, like a regular coffee date. I want to hold space for you, and with you. To feel energized. To bring your WHOLE self up in here.

So bring your snacks, bring your beverage, bring your baggage, and get comfy.

We're gunna do this.

When I'm not at Open Space CCW, you may also find me...

Spending time with my spouse and daughter with our family and friends, enjoying good food and good company. At home I’m watching True Crime or Disney+ with my cats. I love cheesy romance novels and acquiring vast amounts of seemingly useless knowledge.
