Who I Help
Vulnerability. It's a word that sounds all motivating when Brene Brown talks about it, but when it comes to actually DOING it, it terrifies you. Maybe even paralyzes you. In order to get to the root of what's causing your discomfort, I'm going to ask you to get vulnerable. I'm going to ask you to share your story (the real story) with me. But you don't have to do it alone. I see myself as both a support and a fierce advocate for clients to assist with their growth and navigation through the barriers. Through my own self-work, I know this can be difficult. But with the right guide, you got this. You got this.
What Can you Expect?
I'm a LGBTQIA+ and relationship affirming (i.e. open relationships, consensual non-monagamy/CNM) therapist. I incorporate nature-based techniques and movement (grounding techniques, yoga) so you can utilize nature to self-soothe and connect with something outside of yourself, and increase your awareness of the connection between mind and body so you can express it without judgment and without pause.
I connect with clients by using humor, transparency, and an authentic approach. I understand what it is like to sit with a stranger and be vulnerable, and I don't take that lightly. I welcome you into my space without judgement.
"Just like the lotus, we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world." -Buddha
